Atlantic Class Transport

A design for a transport ship.

This was a quick project about 4 hours. Wanted it to have a sleek fast design and I think it turned out good.

Figured it works best as a civilian or diplomatic transport, doesn’t have any weapons so doesn’t fit in as a military transport. I actually started it with the intent of making it a cruiser but it never really had a warship feel to it.

Here is a little back-story:

Developed in 2331 the Atlantic Class was designed to fulfill the role of diplomatic transport. It carried senators, ambassadors, and other important figures between the various colonies of the Earth Federation. During the yearly Federation Congress on Earth, thousands of these ships poured into the Earth Sphere bringing with them the many representatives of the Colonies. It also found much use in the private sector as it became the favorite choice in luxury for rich businessmen. At 700 meters long the Atlantic class was a floating palace. It had all the amenities a rich politician or businessmen would need, from universal class cuisine, casino's, spas, and everything in between.
